Dean & Son
In the 1850s Thomas Dean & Son had premises in Threadneedle Street, London and were well known for publishing novelty books, comic and mechanical valentines.
By the 1860s Dean & Son were at 160a, Fleet Street, London and were an early producer of Christmas and New Year greeting cards.
Cards are identified by “D & S, London”, “Dean & Son, London” or “Dean, London” printed beneath the picture.
